Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the longest running TV show. It has been on-air since 2009 and is still the talk of the town. The first story of the show began with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra as Akshara-Naitik. It was a beautiful arranged marriage story that went on for eight years. Later, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi came in as Kartik-Naira. This story also went on for more than four years. The third generation story had Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod as Abhimanyu-Akshara. They were loved and had a huge fan following like the previous two generations. However, this story was short and fans did not like the way it was kept incomplete. People wanted more of Akshara and Abhimanyu but soon the fourth generation story began. Samridhii Shukla reveals what she told Pranali Rathod on her farewell

Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit play the lead roles now. They are seen as Abhira and Armaan. It was an emotional moment for fans when we all saw Abhira and Akshara’s scenes in the promos. It was a treat for everyone to see Pranali and Samridhii together. Recently, Samridhii spoke to Gossips TV and opened up about her first meeting with Pranali. She shared that she was very excited to meet Pranali as she knew her through people who spoke really good about it. She said that Pranali was very sweet and easy. Samridhii further spoke about what she told Pranali during her farewell. She told Pranali that it is difficult to say goodbye but she only wishes good for her and hopes that she does great work.
