Lorraine viewers will tune in to see broadcaster Louise Minchin sitting in Lorraine Kelly’s usual chair on Friday morning, 19 July, as she introduces the show for the presenter who will be missing her regular daytime slot.
The presenter, 64, sometimes misses her presenting slot on Lorraine when other commitments pop up, but it’s often her ITV co-stars Ranvir Singh and Christine Lampard who step in for the star.
However on Friday, viewers will get to see Louise take over once again. The Masterchef star recently told us that it’s an “honour” to present the programme”.
Speaking exclusively to OK! , she previously gushed: “I’m a massive fan of Lorraine’s. She’s a legend and I absolutely love her programme. I feel really honoured to be able to step into her shoes when she’s not there and I’m very happy to do so again.”
But when she’s not filling in for Lorraine or keeping herself busy as a successful author, Louise relaxes in her incredible home surrounded by the stunning Cheshire countryside. Let’s take a look inside…

Louise, who was previously a regular presenter on BBC Breakfast, joining the show as a main presenter in 2012, resides in a chic Chester property that boasts rustic furniture and a large garden.
Back in June 2021, she announced her departure from the BBC morning show, citing the early starts as one of her reasons for leaving. At the time, she said: “I have absolutely loved being part of the six million-strong BBC Breakfast family but, after nearly two decades presenting the programme, I have decided it is time I stopped setting my alarm for 03.40 in the morning.”

Later that year, she went on to be one of the campmates in the 2021 edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. Although the TV star doesn’t often share pictures inside her property, there’s been some glimpses inside her humble abode over the years.
Back in 2017, the mum-of-two gave fans a rare sneak peek inside her family home after she invited a photographer in. Snaps showed that her grand living room features a large fireplace in the centre of the room complete with traditional carvings along the mantel piece.
The room is complete with natural wood floors and beautiful French windows which open out onto her large garden for her pooches to run around in.
There’s incredibly high ceilings in the Victorian style home and when Louise completed a mid-century modern style revamp, she added an antique side cabinet with two matching figures of deer.

The property also boasts a well-maintained garden with panoramic views of the Cheshire countryside.
Speaking to Cheshire Life in 2012, Louise said her home in Cheshire couldn’t be “more different” to life back in London, but in a more recent interview with Good Housekeeping, she said she was grateful for having a home that she loved during the pandemic.
As for the rest of the house, she added that there is a “lovely tree” outside of her bedroom window, where she enjoys spending time “looking at the view” and “taking it all in”. She explained: “It’s something I’ve not really done before, but it’s nice to appreciate nature.”

More recently, Louise finally decided to break her silence on whether there would be a potential return to BBC Breakfast for her after admitting she “really misses” the team.
The 55-year-old previously anchored the flagship programme for nine years but quickly shut down any rumours as she confirmed she wouldn’t be coming back.
She opened up on how difficult she found the early mornings and the pressure of hosting the show.
Louise said: “News stories are changing all the time, doing 12 different interviews on 12 different subjects. You know, there’s that pressure. There are six million people watching. […] Dan and I both found them [early wake-ups] really hard.”
