Gatineau police have confirmed a second man has died at a homeless encampment near the Robert-Guertin arena on Carillon Street.
First responders received a number of reports of an unconscious man at about 8:45 p.m.

Paramedics transported the man to hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Police said a release that the coroner is to investigate the case and there would be no further information for the time being.
On Nov. 27, a man was found dead inside a tent at the encampment.
The victim was later identified as Marc Jodoin, 47.
The coroner is also investigating this case.
