The behind the scene of the meeting between political leader, Aremo Segun Osoba, Senator Solomon Adeola – better known as Yayi – and serial entrepreneur Tony Elemelu with the eye -in-the-storm ministerial nominee, Bosun Tijani has been revealed.
SocietyNown.Ng gathered that contrary to claims in many quarters that it was deliberate, the meeting was a “chance encounter” at the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.
The hospitality place is part of the money spinning Transcorp group with Elumelu as Chairman.
Information monitored by SocietyNow.Ng on Senator Adeola’s social media space confirmed this assertion.
“With one of APC National Leader, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Mr. Tony Elumelu and new ministerial nominee, Bosun Tijani and a member of House of Representatives in a chance meeting at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja venue of NEC meeting of All Progressives Congress, APC” the Senator from Ogun West popularly known as Yayi posted with added information – along with pictures that tell better story of the encounter.
This revelation dispels claims that the “meeting” was a deliberate gathering over Tijani’s nomination running into a hitch over old tweets that speared campaign against his confirmation as a minister.
Some of tweets that the ministerial nominee apologized profusely over declared “Nigeria is a bloody expensive tag” and fingered Senators as “morons”.
