The dates for the Premier League’s 2024/25 transfer windows have been confirmed.
The summer window officially opens today (Friday 14 June), with any deals able to be ratified from this point.
Although a lot of contracts run until the end of June, this is the same date as the start of last year’s period for any business.
In England, the window will shut on Friday 30 August, at 23:00 BST.
The deadline day is in line with the other major European leagues, and could make for an interesting time, following the start of the Premier League season on the weekend of 12/13 August.
The English winter window is scheduled to open on 1 January 2025.
It will run until Monday 3 February, closing at 23:00 GMT.

The Reds will return to the pitch on 15 July, when we face Rosenborg in Trondheim for our first pre-season game. Following a friendly against Rangers at Murrayfield, Edinburgh on 20 July, we’ll fly out to the United States for Tour 2024, comprising three clashes with Arsenal (Los Angeles, 27 July), Real Betis (San Diego, 31 July) and Liverpool (Columbia, 3 August).
