Nanoleaf Canvas RGB squares on sale for US$113 this Cyber Monday (Image source: Amazon)
The 9-square kit can brighten up a room or power up to a total of 500 panels for stylized wall colors or pixel art. Its expansive software features help to separate Nanoleaf lights from the competition.
Amazon is currently running a sale on the Canvas range of Nanoleaf wall lights for $113 USD down from the original launch price of $180. Unlike the hexagonal and triangle variations, the Canvas lights are squares for unique pixel-inspired designs.
Aside from the standard 16M+ colors, the square panels can also respond to touch. Users can customize its color effects including a ripple effect much like when you press a key on many RGB-enabled keyboards. Other software features like Rhythm and Screen Mirror help to distinguish the Nanoleaf Canvas from cheaper and lesser-known wall light makers.
While the kit includes nine 5.9″ x 5.9″ squares, you’re likely going to want more in order to better exploit the software and its colorful reactive features. Costs can certainly add up over time as a result. It’s too bad that you can’t easily buy a larger number of panels at greater discounts per panel for those who want to fill up larger areas or walls.
Other Nanoleaf shapes continue to be on sale this week as well including the Ultra Black Hexagon and Triangle sets for $190 USD each. However, their discounts at the moment are not as steep as for the Canvas series.
